Terms and Conditions

This booking will be serviced by Movyng Car and Van Rental , having registered office 
in Av. Gomes Pereira 27, 1500-328 Lisboa, Portugal. In case of booking disputes.

Drivers Age
The minimum driver age is 18 years and the maximum is 75 years.

A Young driver surcharge of EUR 40 per rental per driver will apply for the drivers 
aged from 18 to 23 years.
Driver’s License
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license for at 
least 2 years with no major endorsements. Also, a valid ID card or passport must be 
required at time of pick up. 

If the customer has held the driving license for less than 2 years he/she will have 
to pay a fee of EUR 40 per driver.

Domestic driving license issued in the US, Canada and Australia is accepted without 
an international driving license.
 
The following documents are mandatory to present at the time of vehicle pick up: 
Passport, driver's license.

Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is included in your rental amount.
Collision damage waiver reduces the customer’s damage responsibility to the 
excess/deductible amount.
The excess amount for CDW depends on the car groups:
 
The maximum excess amount for economy (4-5 door), economy elite (4-5 door, manual, 
Diesel Air) (Peugeot 208 or similar) and economy elite (4-5 door, automatic) 
vehicle groups is EUR 1000.
The maximum excess amount for compact (4-5 door), compact Wagon and compact elite 
vehicle groups is EUR 1600.
The maximum excess amount for full size Van groups is EUR 2000.
The maximum excess amount for economy elite (4-5 door, manual, Diesel Air) (Peugeot 
3008 or similar), intermediate (Pick up (single/extended cab) 2 door), full size 
monospace, luxury Wagon and premium SUV groups is EUR 2500.
The maximum excess amount for luxury special, full size elite Van and premium Van 
groups is EUR 2750.
The maximum excess amount for premium Convertible groups is EUR 3500.
The maximum excess amount for luxury elite and special convertible groups is 
EUR 10000.
Theft Waiver (THW)
It is included in your rental amount. It reduces the client's financial 
responsibility for loss or theft of the vehicle up to a sum of the deductible amount.
The excess amount for THW depends on the car groups:
 
The maximum excess amount for economy (4-5 door), economy elite (4-5 door, manual, 
Diesel Air) (Peugeot 208 or similar) and economy elite (4-5 door, automatic) vehicle
groups is EUR 1000.
The maximum excess amount for compact (4-5 door), compact Wagon and compact elite 
vehicle groups is EUR 1600.
The maximum excess amount for full size Van groups is EUR 2000.
The maximum excess amount for economy elite (4-5 door, manual, Diesel Air) (Peugeot
3008 or similar), intermediate (Pick up (single/extended cab) 2 door), full size 
monospace, luxury Wagon and premium SUV groups is EUR 2500.
The maximum excess amount for luxury special, full size elite Van and premium Van
groups is EUR 2750.
The maximum excess amount for premium Convertible groups is EUR 3500.
The maximum excess amount for luxury elite and special convertible groups is 
EUR 10000.
 
Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)
It is included in your rental amount. Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented 
includes Third Party Liability with a limited cover for bodily injuries and material
damages.
Excess Reduction
In the event of an accident, Super Collision Damage Waiver (Super CDW) reduces your
excess amount up to a small manageable amount.
 
The price of Super CDW varies according to the vehicle groups which are as follows:
 
EUR 10 per day - For economy (4-5 door), economy elite (4-5 door, manual, 
Diesel Air) (Peugeot 208 or similar) and economy elite (4-5 door, automatic) 
vehicle groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 500.
EUR 17.50 per day - For compact (4-5 door), compact Wagon and compact elite vehicle 
groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 800.
EUR 22 per day - For full size Van groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 1000.
EUR 25 per day - For economy elite (4-5 door, manual, Diesel Air) (Peugeot 3008 or 
similar), intermediate (Pick up (single/extended cab) 2 door), full size monospace,
luxury Wagon and premium SUV groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 1250.
EUR 30 per day - For full size elite Van and premium Van groups. It reduces the 
excess amount to EUR 1350.
EUR 30 per day - For luxury special groups. It reduces the excess amount to EUR 1375.
EUR 40 per day - for premium Convertible groups. It reduces the excess amount to 
EUR 1750.

If renter opts for SCDW, a refundable deposit varying from EUR 500 to EUR 1750 will
be held from the credit card.
 
SCDW is not available for luxury elite (Porche Cayenne SUV or similar) and special
Convertible (Porche Carrera Cabrio or similar) groups.
 
It may not cover Glass, tyres and other accessories. Super CDW is optional and can
be purchased at the rental desk. For more information please check at the

Fees
Airport fee of EUR 25 will apply.

Other fee:
You are responsible for the cost of any parking fines, other penalties, and loss of
vehicle keys/documents etc. incurred whilst the vehicle is contracted to you. The
rental office will pass the relevant charges on to you plus any administrative
expenses.

E-tool Device
 
E-Tool is mandatory. All vehicles must have this device.

E-tool device is available for a charge of EUR 1.85 per day.

A Maximum charge of EUR 30 will apply for tool device. 

In case the customer does not pay the tool, an administrative cost of EUR 10 per
rental (plus the charge of tolls and the device) will apply, for identifying the
customer.

If the customer removes the tool device, a penalty fee of EUR 50 will apply.

All tickets will be charged to the credit card after the end of the rental.

Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown assistance is available for all rentals. An additional charge will apply
according to the damage and/or breakdown of the car. Relevant contact details and
roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.
Fuel Policy
The vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full.
Otherwise, a refuelling fee will be charged on your return. Fuel charges are payable
at the rental desk unless otherwise stated. Supplier's fuel policy change from time
to time, please confirm at rental counter.
 
Please Note: The vehicle must be refuelled within 10 km to 12 km of the return
station and the renter must present the receipt from the petrol station to confirm
that the vehicle is returned with the same fuel tank.
Mileage Policy
Unlimited
Cross Border Travel
Cross border travel is allowed with prior written approval from the rental desk.
 
Cross border travel is allowed to Spain EUR 120 per rental will apply.
 
If the client goes beyond the limits and does not notify the rental company, the
client will pay additional costs and he/she alone is responsible for all possible
damages.

Ferry Travel
Ferry travel is not allowed.
Tax Rate 
Tax is included in the rental price. However, for all the optional extras or special
equipment, or extra services, tax would be levied separately.

Payment Methods and Deposit
Only MasterCard and Visa credit cards are accepted and the card must be in the name
of main renter while paying at the rental desk. 
Cash and debit cards are not accepted.

Deposit:
A refundable security deposit varying from EUR 1000 to EUR 10000 (depending on the
vehicle group) is held from the credit card at the time of rental.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection service is available only on request to hotels or
aparthotels. An additional charge will apply depending on the time, distance and
location of the pick-up or the delivery of the car.
 
It is mandatory to mention the name of the hotel at the time of booking.
Out of Hours 
Out of hours service is available for a charge varying from EUR 35 per rental to 
EUR 50 per rental (depending on the time) will apply. 

Grace Period
for vehicle pick up
1 hour grace period from the schedule time of pickup is allowed. If the customer 
comes to pick the vehicle after the grace period the booking will be considered 
as "No-show".
for late return
1 hour grace period is for returning vehicles. If the customer comes to return the
vehicle after the grace period then additional one day rental will apply.

Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipments depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
